The content
Everything on this site — guides, trip plans, journal entries, films — is for education and encouragement. Fishing involves moving water, weather, and your own judgment; conditions are a forecast, not a verdict. Check local regulations before you fish, and make your own safety calls on the water.
The shop
Prices and availability in The Bins can change. If something we ship you is wrong or broken, write us and we'll make it right. The First Fish Patch cannot be purchased at any price; it is earned.
Your submissions
When you submit a first-fish story or photo, you keep ownership and give us permission to publish it on the wall and in Smolt materials, credited the way you sent it. Ask and we'll take it down.
Intellectual property
The Smolt name, parr-mark logo, and site content belong to Smolt Co. Teach the method to anyone you like — that's the point — but don't republish our work as your own.
Liability
The site and its content are provided as-is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Smolt Co. is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the site or reliance on its content.
